Promotion in public places of foreign countries and international media

Promotion of the 'Made in Azerbaijan' brand in public places of foreign countries and through international media is a support measure arranged to ensure the promotion of national non-oil sector products in the world under a single brand name.

The amount of support provided under this support measure includes the cost of advertising campaigns.

Taking into account the export potential of non-oil sector products, requests from exporters, international trade, and economic relations of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Economy shall define the list of foreign countries, in which the 'Made in Azerbaijan' brand will be promoted, including these countries' public places, and media outlets using the following criteria:

• advertisements to be placed in public places with a high density of population and traffic
• availability of wide audience and media followers;

Exporters that will have their products promoted in public places and/or through international media shall undergo a competitive selection procedure; an announcement about the competition shall be posted in the Announcements section at least 15 days before the date of the competition.

Note! The announcement on the competition shall specify the foreign countries, in which the ‘Made in Azerbaijan’ brand will be promoted, the countries' public places suitable for advertising, the name of the media outlets, the type of promotion, and the list of products to be advertised.

After submitting applications, the competitive commission established by the Ministry of Economy shall hold a competition on a predetermined date to select exporters as well as evaluate the applications and make a decision.

Applications shall be evaluated on the following criteria:

• the exporter's capacity to produce the product;
• export potential of the exporter to the target country or countries;
• export related experience;

The candidates achieving a minimum passing score on the above criteria shall be declared winners.

The contestants shall be notified of the results within 2 business days after the competition.
